General and Show Rules
The decision of the judges and officials is final.
Competitors must wear the correct clothing when mounted including correctly fitting hard hats to PAS 015, EN 1384 or ASTM F1163 and bearing the kite mark or SEI. Body protectors are to be worn when jumping. Long hair should be tied back.
No cantering around the showground, except in the practice area.
All participants must remain on the showground and not enter the livery yard or other areas of the farm without express permission.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the show at short notice in the event of adverse conditions.
The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class.
Neither the organisers, landowners or anyone acting on their behalf accept any liability for loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to any competitor, animal, spectator, persons or property.
All vehicles must be parked as directed and are done so at the owners’ risk.
Reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure the health and safety of all present at this event. For these to be effective everyone must also take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the stewards, organisers and officials.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and poo must be picked up.
And finally, remember that – no matter where you are placed – you should always leave the ring friends with your horse or pony. If you didn’t do as well as you’d hoped, don’t blame them - or the judge! Think about how you could have done things differently and hope for a better result next time…
