SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER: Clear Round Jumping and Jumping Derby

Clear Round jumping from 11am to 1pm
Starting at 1'6", jumps will increase 3-6" throughout the session. Further clear rounds may be available following the Jumping Derby if required.
Schooling rounds £2.00, £2.50 with rosette.
Jumping Derby from 1pm
A combination of show jumps and rustic fences arranged over a longer course testing power, control and speed. Each competitor's round will be timed with places determined by a combination of jumping faults and time. Show jackets or cross country clothing can be worn.
CLASS 1: 1'6" to 1'9" Jumping
Beginners' Jumping. Open to lead rein (fit parents required!).
CLASS 2: 2'0" to 2'3" Jumping
Results will be split between horses and ponies if sufficient entries.
CLASS 3: 2'6" to 2'9" Jumping
Results will be split between horses and ponies if sufficient entries.
CLASS 4: 3'0" to 3'3" max Open Jumping
Entry fees £5.00 per class.
PRIZES
Rosettes to 6th place in all classes. Prize money for winner. Prize money will only be awarded if there are five or more entrants in the class.
EVENT RULES
No galloping around the showground.
The decision of the judges and officials is final.
All participants must remain on the showground and not enter the livery yard or prohibited other areas of the farm.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the show at short notice in the event of adverse conditions.
The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class.
Neither the organisers, landowners or anyone acting on their behalf accept any liability for loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to any competitor, animal, spectator, persons or property.
Reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure the health and safety of all present at this event. For these to be effective everyone must also take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the stewards, organisers and officials.
Competitors must wear the correct clothing when mounted including correctly fitting hard hats to BS EN1384 or PAS015 and proper boots. Body protectors are to be worn when jumping.
The practice jump must not be raised above 3’6”.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and poo must be picked up.
And finally, remember that – no matter where you are placed – you should always leave the ring friends with your horse or pony. If you didn’t do as well as you’d hoped, don’t blame them - or the judge! Think about how you could have done things differently and hope for a better result next time…
